The lift is also safer than a ladder because it is not relying on the support of the tree being trimmed for balance. It uses the balance of the truck and motor that is lifting the bucket. Cranes: Milam’s Tree Service has two sizes of cranes that can be used to place and move trees that may be in a hard to reach spot. We have an 18 ton crane and a 27 ton crane that can be used on any job they are needed. A crane can be used if you are placing trees on a higher level than the ground. It can also be a great way to help unload large trees and move them to the location that they will be planted.

Dump Trucks: We have three large dump trucks that are used on our clean up jobs; especially after storm damage. This is a great benefit for the homeowner because it can be included in the cost of the tree service and eliminates the need to have a large dumpster delivered and left on their property. We are able to remove all the debris that we need to from each job.

Bobcats: There are many times that a truck cannot fit through an opening to do the service to the trees that is needed. The great thing about a bobcat is that they are small and compact and have the ability to dig the hole needed for planting. Milam’s Tree Service has two bobcats that are available for use on a job that you hire us for.

Choppers: One of the best ways to have efficiency when dealing with trees and trimming, cutting, removing and pruning is having a chopper. The chopper is set up to break down large branches and big pieces cut down to a piece that is easier to dispose of or repurpose.
